During Lent, one point of emphasis will be service to others.  Lent is an opportunity for Sardis to explore service to our community in a variety of ways.  For each Saturday of Lent (2/13-3/19), Sardis will participate in a mini-mission burst that reaches out to our community in different ways.  On March 12, Kathryn Kreutzer will organize a group to make sandwiches and deliver them to Urban Ministries.  We’ll gather at the meetinghouse at 9 AM; sandwiches will be delivered to Urban Ministries at noon.  If you are unable to join us on March 12th, please consider donating items for sandwiches.  We need bread, sandwich meat, sliced cheese and individual packets of mustard and mayonnaise.
